Is an Acid Wash or Floor Grinding best for a Floor Coating?

Grinding the floor with diamonds is the best way to prep a floor for a long term coating. Grinding the floor creates the best adhesion surface by stripping any cure, sealant, or stains that can cause the coating to delaminate over time. Grinding also creates micro ridges in the concrete for the product to grab on to. We use top of the line diamond grinders to minimize the dust and make the process quick so you can get back to your garage space as soon as possible.

We recommend Sika Self Leveling Polyurethane. This product can be purchased at Lowes or Home Depot. It comes in a gray or tan color. It requires a caulk gun for application.

Are different Polyaspartic colors at different price points?

We offer a large color selection so you can pick the Polyaspartic color that suits you best. All the Polyaspartic coating colors we stock are set at the same price point. We order our most popular colors in bulk. If the colors we have on hand aren’t exactly what you imagined, we have more color options available to order. If you choose a color we don’t have in stock, it will need to be special ordered and will cost a bit extra. The special order flake typically takes about two to three weeks to be delivered.
