Patio & Porch Epoxy Coating Layton Utah

Our client was looking for a better way to keep her patio and front porch cleaner and better looking. She enjoys going out on her patio and wanted something that would be both easy to maintain and looked good. She choose to use travertine flakes and a polyaspartic coating. The polyaspartic coating is a great choice as it will not yellow overtime in the sun. Travertine went well with her siding color it is also a little more stylish as it has several different sizes of flakes so it doesn’t look so much like a traditional flake garage floor. We also coated the front porch with the same polyaspartic coating.

Bountiful Epoxy Garage Floor Coating

The client we did this project for had started to do his own garage floor coating with a do it yourself kit. He quickly realized he was not going to get the look or quality he wanted. He called our team and we came out and gave him a quote on what it would cost to do his garage floor coating. While we were not as cheap as the big box store the long term value was definitely a better value. His new floor will last 4x longer then a do it yourself kit.

Customer Color Choices & Project Details

The customer choose Limestone Flakes with just the base coat and no flakes for the verticals or side walls. This garage was around 1200 sq feet with this size garage it will typically take us 2 days to do the project. We came out and grinded the floor and removed the do it yourself kit and the rest of the concrete to make sure that when we installed the new coating it would adhere better to the concrete. This is what really makes all the difference between a do it yourself kit and quality polyaspartic coating. Below you will see some of the before and after photos of what we do.

Commercial Properties - Ogden, Utah

When your commercial property needs new flooring, there seem to be thousands of options on the market. But, with so many options, it can be difficult to determine which is best for your space. If you’re looking for a durable, reliable long-term investment, Polyaspartic and epoxy coatings are a great way to go.

However, looking at these professional floor coatings, you might think they aren’t the right fit for all commercial properties. While you may be weary about whether these floors are the right fit, many commercial properties benefit from this addition. If you’re considering installing new flooring on your property, keep reading to see if our team believes they’re a good choice for you and your business.

1. Commercial Kitchens

Sanitation and safety are top priorities for anyone who runs a commercial kitchen and restaurant. Even one misstep in sanitation poses a significant risk to your hard-earned reputation. Your desire to protect your reputation is reason enough for you to consider investing in a floor coating for your commercial properties.

Sanitation and safety are top priorities in commercial kitchens and restaurants. Floor coatings designed for these environments provide a non-slip, seamless surface that prevents bacterial growth and ensures compliance with health regulations. Polyaspartic coatings offer excellent resistance to heat, moisture, and grease, reducing the risk of accidents and making cleaning more efficient.

2. Healthcare Facilities

Hospitals and clinics require flooring solutions prioritizing hygiene, sterility, and long-term durability. These high-traffic environments must maintain strict cleanliness standards to prevent the spread of bacteria and infections. Floor coatings create a non-porous surface that eliminates cracks and crevices where dust and bacteria accumulate, improving sanitation.

Additionally, chemical-resistant coatings are essential in laboratories, where frequent exposure to spills, disinfectants, and harsh substances can deteriorate unprotected flooring. By choosing durable, easy-to-clean coatings, healthcare facilities enhance safety, ensure compliance with health regulations, and extend the lifespan of their floors.

3. Educational Facilities

When commercial properties open their doors to younger visitors, it isn’t uncommon to welcome in mud and dirt as well. While this is an anticipated part of hosting children in your space, it does call for additional cleaning. Some flooring isn’t equipped for the regular cleaning that the floors in your educational facility see, but floor coatings are up to the job.

Not only can these floors withstand the constant cleaning, but they are incredibly easy to keep clean. Often, these floors only require a simple sweep and mop to look their best. If you want flooring that can withstand the constant traffic of tiny feet but can stand up to the cleaning you need to do, floor coatings are the way to go.

4. Car Dealerships and Repair Shops

Car dealerships and repair shops require flooring solutions that can endure the weight of heavy vehicles, constant foot traffic, and exposure to oil, grease, and harsh chemicals. Epoxy and Polyaspartic coatings offer a high-gloss finish that enhances the appearance of showrooms while delivering superior strength for service areas.

These coatings are highly resistant to abrasions, stains, and chemical spills, preventing long-term damage and extending the floor’s lifespan. Additionally, their smooth surface makes cleaning up oil, grease, and other automotive fluids much easier, reducing slip hazards and improving overall workplace safety.

5. Gyms and Fitness Centers

Commercial Properties - Ogden, Utah

The floors on commercial properties like gyms and fitness centers need to handle heavy gym equipment, foot traffic, and constant movement. If you choose fragile flooring, you may have to deal with premature wear and potentially long-term or permanent damage to the floors that compromise safety and degrade the appearance of your property.

When you install an epoxy or Polyaspartic floor coating in your gym or fitness center, you can trust that they are impact-resistant. This resistance means you won’t have to worry about potential damage from heavy equipment or accidental weight drops. Additionally, these coatings help maintain hygiene, as they are easy to clean and bacteria-resistant.

6. Hospitality Venues

If your commercial properties are home to conference centers, meeting rooms, and exhibition centers, you want a floor coating that is not only easy to clean but also safe for frequent foot traffic. While some flooring options are beautiful, they aren’t equipped to handle everything your hospitality venue sees.

Unlike some more fragile flooring options, epoxy and Polyaspartic floor coatings can stand up to it all. They are quick to clean, making it easier for you to keep the space looking its best. Additionally, if you need it, your floor coating professional can include non-slip additives to your coating, helping you avoid slip-and-fall incidents.

7. Veterinary Clinic or Kennels

While we all love our furry friends, it is safe to say their fur, dirty paws, and sharp claws can damage a variety of floor materials. For commercial properties that are home to veterinary clinics or boarding and kennel services, installing a professional floor coating is a great, easy way to avoid potential damage.

These floors are designed to be drop, chemical, and friction-resistant. While they may wear down after many years of use, the regular foot (and paw) traffic your floors see won’t lead to immediate damage. With a Polyaspartic or epoxy floor coating installed on your property, you can say goodbye to the deep scratches and damage that accompany your animal patrons.
